The Great Mill Duck Drop is a new community fundraising event planned for Sunday, June 7, 2026, as the finale of Dickinson Days weekend! There will be activities all day throughout Dickinson Square, with the main event at 1:00pm being the release of 2,000 ducks from Watson’s Mill for a race down the Rideau River.
Proceeds will support Watson’s Mill Manotick Inc.’s heritage preservation and operations. Our goal is to create a signature annual tradition that strengthens Dickinson Days, supports heritage preservation at Watson’s Mill and Dickinson Square and brings additional positive energy to the village.

$5.00 per Duck Ticket
Each ticket purchased corresponds to one uniquely numbered rubber duck entered into the race.
IMPORTANT: Ticket holders must be 18 years or older to purchase a Duck, as the Great Mill Duck Drop is a licensed lottery event. Proof of Age may be requested at the time of your purchase.

Tickets are available for purchase in-person only at the Watson’s Mill Admin Office (located on the second floor of the Carriage Shed)
